Dear Students
It is my pleasure and privilege to serve as the director of Rising Star Academy, not only because Mathematics is my passion but also because I enjoy the company of my dearly loved students and talented members of faculty who keep me energized all the time.
The rising star is not just one more institute in the already long list of educational institutions in the fortified city but it is one institute which had made a great difference in its qualitative journey of over 15 years Our students represent our hopes and dreams.
We try to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where academics mold our students and motivate them to be the brightest and the best. I have seen many students in my career whose favorite subjects are mathematics till the 10th or 12th standard. But their interest has gone somewhere when they started higher mathematics. Now, it become a boring subject, in which they had a keen interest. During my 15 years of teaching experience, daily I conferred with such problems and tried to sort them out by doing hard work as well as smart work.
In this process, as I have observed, I would like you to pay attention to the following points:
- As far as higher mathematics books are concerned, definitions and theorems are unfortunately not visualized properly.
- Repetition of theorems in B.A /B.SC./M.A/M.SC. exams compel the students only to cram everything vigorously.
- Just because of repulsive patterns of exam system sometimes the students with higher I.Q.and basic concepts are left behind by the students whose cramming power is good.
- However, on the other hand, the cramming is of no use in CSIR/UGC net exam. To clear this exam, you are in great need of a strong basic concept and you must be an expert in mathematical manipulation.
Over the years, the institute has evolved to reach and hold a unique position of pride in the education system and an environment conducive to new and path-breaking research & development in frontier areas of mathematics.
